Without a stable climate, everything that we work so hard to build will not stand on solid grounds.
Climate change is the change in the usual weather patterns of that place that lasts for an extended time period. Since 1880, the global temperature has risen over 1°C. It is time to explore plant-based meals, a low-cost solution to climate change.
This seems negligible to untrained eyes. But, 1°C has caused climate change resulting in extreme weather events all over the world like increased heatwaves, wildfires, extreme rainfalls and other effects such as arctic meltdown, sinking lands, ocean acidification, biodiversity loss, illnesses, global food and water shortages.

Why animal agriculture is the #1 climate destabiliser
Greenhouse gas emissions from animal agriculture are more than all world’s transportation combined United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation, 2006
Livestock and their by-products actually account for more than 51% of all GHG emissions Anhang & Goodland, former World Bank's environmentalists, 2009
Methane is 72 times hotter than carbon dioxide (IPCC 2007)
While the livestock industry contributes about only 9% of total carbon dioxide emissions, it is responsible for 37% of methane and 65% of nitrous oxide emissions globally.

- But stretched on 100 years time frame, the global warming potential of methane reduces to 25 times only, which means if we want to eliminate heat quickly in the short term, we should focus on methane from animal agriculture which is a short-lived climate pollutant with a lesser lifetime in the atmosphere, not carbon dioxide from transportations and fossil fuels

- This is a crucial piece of information because while carbon has been getting the spotlight in climate change, methane and nitrous oxide are 25 and 298 times more potent than carbon dioxide in global warming potential (GWP) respectively.
1. Laying the foundation: establish connection with policy makers
2. Strategic collaboration between stakeholders
3. Key initiatives: plant-rich dietary guideline, funding, action plan, subsidies for farmers
4. Network between business VS civil societies
5. Meat imitation VS organic plant-based whole food
